We are on the look out for a dynamic & passionate HR Officer (Generalist) to join our team at Novaterra. In this role, you will provide day-to-day HR support to the company as well as across several entities within Terra Group, working closely with the HR team and line managers to ensure smooth and effective people operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide generalist HR support across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and administration for assigned entities
• Assist in the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives across the entities supported
• Maintain and update employee records, contracts, and HR databases
• Assist in handling employee queries and providing first-line support on HR matters
• Support the coordination of training, performance management, and engagement activities
• Ensure compliance with Mauritian labour law and internal HR policies
• Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the Group

Requirements

• Diploma/ Degree in Human Resource Management or related field
• 3 - 5 years' experience in a generalist HR role
• Sound knowledge of Mauritian employment law
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across diverse teams
• Well-organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities across different entities
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with HRIS systems is an advantage
• Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information
