Job Description

Responsibility:

 

·       Developing detailed architectural drawings and technical documentation.

·       Producing and updating architectural models and drawings using Revit.

·       Preparing plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules and construction documentation.

·       Translating architectural concepts and designs into technically accurate drawings.

·       Assisting architects in the development and coordination of projects.

·       Coordinating architectural drawings and models with structural, MEP and other consultants.

·       Preparing drawings and documentation for planning, authority submissions and construction purposes.

·       Reviewing drawings and technical information to ensure accuracy and consistency.

·       Assisting with site visits, inspections and resolving technical issues where required.

·       Incorporating revisions and maintaining accurate project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

·       Working collaboratively with the architectural team to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

 

Requirements and Qualifications:

 

·       Good practical knowledge and experience in Revit is essential.

·       Knowledge of AutoCAD and other relevant architectural software.

·       Experience with BIM and multidisciplinary coordination would be an advantage.

·       A recognised qualification in Architectural Technology, Architectural Drafting or a related field.

·       Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience.

·       Strong technical drawing and architectural detailing skills.

·       Good knowledge of construction methods, materials and building details.

·       Experience in preparing detailed construction drawings and documentation.

·       Good understanding of building regulations, planning requirements and construction practices in Mauritius.

·       Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

·       Good organisational and time-management skills.

·       Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

·       A proactive, responsible and professional approach to work.

·       Excellent command of written and spoken English and French.
