Job Description
· Welcome all guests of hotel as well as non-resident
· Retrieve cars to the parking area on guests’ request.
· Actively participates in the provision of excellent service to guests.
· Cordially welcomes guests on their arrivals and opens car doors.
· Converses with guests to obtain feedback and suggestions for improvement.
· Guides guests towards service outlets as and when requested.
· Answers telephone calls in Front Office area when requested.
· Handles customer complaints efficiently through appropriate interaction and/or referral to Head Porter.
· Updates the daily attendance book to control punctuality, absenteeism, overtime and casual labour, in order to make sure that his/her IN and OUT duty time have been recorded.
· Updates the daily logbooks for recording events with the Porter section and review them with the Supervisors to correct any arising operational problem.
· Carries out all delegated duties in accordance with the Hotel’s standards and checklists, and with Management instructions.
· Assists the Supervisors in implementing all SOP(s) and monitoring their professional execution.
