Main Responsibilities :

• Receive incoming raw materials (sugar), packaging materials, and other supplies.
• Verify quantities against delivery notes and purchase orders.
• Inspect goods for damages or discrepancies and report issues to procurement/quality.
• Ensure proper documentation and system entry of received goods.
• Maintain accurate stock records (Netsuite ERP).
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess stock.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and participate in full stock audits.
• Ensure FIFO/FEFO principles are applied (especially important for food products).
• Ensure proper storage conditions for all materials (cleanliness, humidity control, pest control where applicable).
• Organize warehouse layout for efficient storage and easy retrieval.
• Ensure safe handling of goods to prevent damage or contamination.
• Maintain clear labeling and identification of all stock items.
• Issue raw materials and packaging materials to production as per approved requisitions.
• Prepare finished goods for dispatch based on customer orders.
• Coordinate with logistics teams for loading and dispatch operations.
• Ensure correct quantities and documentation accompany all outgoing goods.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse at all times.

• Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and food safety requirements.
• Follow proper stacking and storage practices to avoid hazards.
• Report any safety risks or incidents.
• Maintain accurate records of all stock movements (receipts, issues, returns).
• Prepare daily/weekly inventory reports.
• Report discrepancies, variances, or damages promptly.
• Assist in audits and provide required documentation.

Skills & Competencies :

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in teams.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• IT literate – Handson experience in ERP packages, eg: Netsuite would be an advantage.

Qualifications & Experience :

• Certificate or Diploma in Logistics, Warehouse Management, or Supply Chain.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in a Manufacturing Industry and / or in FMCG, and / or in Food Production environment.
