Job Description
Main objectives-
To ensure the proper day to day running of the Linen Section which consists mainly of sewing, ironing and washing by providing an efficient service and attend requests of all concern.
Job Description:
. To supervise the department
. To operate efficiently machines (sewing, ironing, washing etc) provided with safety and precaution by following all safety guidelines.
· To sew and finish garments by hand or machine, perform repairs, rectify faults in manufactured textile goods and repair worn and damaged garments.
· To keep a detailed record of daily work.
· To liaise with Supervisor for orders to be completed.
· To record all raw materials used on production sheet and stock card for processing by Accounts Department.
· To keep record of all finished goods on stock card.
· To ensure that raw materials and other goods are being efficiently used.
· To help other Production staff as and when required by the Management.
· To maintain good workplace hygiene to avoid health hazard.
· To ensure that your place of work is clean and tidy before leaving work.
· To assist and help Accounts staff in counting and recording of all physical stock.
· To perform any other relevant duties that may be assigned to you from time to time by Management.
