The Assistant Manager – Leisure & Recreation supports the Leisure Manager in the daily management of leisure, sports, recreation, entertainment, spa, and kids’ club activities, ensuring excellent guest experiences and safe, efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily leisure and recreation operations and ensure facilities and equipment are clean, safe, and well maintained.
• Plan and coordinate sports, games, entertainment, social events, competitions, and recreational activities.
• Supervise the use of leisure facilities and ensure activities comply with hotel standards and safety procedures.
• Ensure swimming pool and surrounding areas are properly monitored for guest safety.
• Welcome guests, promote leisure facilities and activities, and respond professionally to their requests and feedback.
• Assist in supervising, scheduling, training, and motivating Leisure, Spa, and Kids’ Club team members.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, grooming, and professional service.
• Maintain knowledge of sports, games, crafts, recreation, and basic first aid.
• Act as MC for events and presentations in English and French when required.
• Report accidents, incidents, hazards, equipment faults, and maintenance issues promptly.
• Support emergency procedures and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
• Develop creative activities and initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Participate in meetings, training, and departmental development programs.
• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Leisure Manager or Management.
