Job Profile

We are seeking a dynamic Technician to join our Hotel Services Department.  The latter will assist in conducting and executing support services such as the reparation, installation, maintenance and demonstration of related products and equipment within reasonable time while ensuring quality service.

Role and Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and compliance schematics.
• Install, modify, troubleshoot and repair a large inventory of electric/gas professional kitchen equipment, refrigeration units and other appliances as required.
• Carry out periodic inspection, cleaning and equipment servicing.
• Attend to customer's requests / interventions as per planning.
• Attend quickly to emergency call on equipment repair issues.
• Issue duly filled and signed intervention report to customers after each intervention.
• Maintain constant communication with the Coordination Team and the Superiors as applicable.
• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
• Any other cognate duties as assigned by the HOD.

Qualifications and Experience

• NC2 or NC3 in Electrical, Electronic or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar position would be an advantage.

Knowledge, Skills and Attitude

• Knowledge of professional kitchen and refrigeration systems will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of basic electrical and electronic practice, theory and safety.
• Knowledge of plumbing repair and installation practice and procedure.
• Good mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Detail oriented and problem-solving skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good team spirit.
