Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, review, and support the daily activities of the Internal Controller.
• Plan, oversee, and review inventory counts.
• Monitor food and beverage cost trends and investigate significant variances.
• Review and ensure the accuracy and integrity of item master data, recipes, menu pricing, and other system master data within operational systems.
• Review new and existing business processes to assess control effectiveness and recommend enhancements to strengthen controls.
• Develop, implement, review, and update policies & procedures.
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on outstanding findings to ensure timely resolution and closure.
• Implement and strengthen internal controls within new and existing systems.
• Analyse trends to identify recurring control weaknesses.
• Prepare internal control reports.
• Assist with special reviews, investigations and other ad hoc assignments in line with business needs.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum of three years' experience in Internal Control, Internal Audit, Cost Control, or a related field.
• Minimum of one year experience in a supervisory or senior-level role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience using hotel Property Management Systems (PMS), Point-of-Sale (POS), inventory management, and accounting systems would be an advantage.
