Job Description
We are currently recruiting a dynamic and talented candidate to join our team as Senior Finance Officer. If the profile below matches your qualifications and experience, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounting cycle for Group Companies.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Prepare management accounts and financial reports.
- Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Review accounting records prepared by junior team members.
- Prepare VAT, Corporate Tax and other statutory returns.
- Liaise with auditors, banks, regulators and government authorities.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and applicable local regulations.
- Process complex accounting transactions and journal entries.
- Supervise and mentor junior finance officers.
- Participate in process improvements and automation initiatives.
- Assist in year-end closing and audit preparation.
- Ensure deadlines are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Support management with financial analysis and ad hoc assignments.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
- Partly qualified ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification (completed or in advanced stages).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting or finance.
- Experience in a management company, accounting firm, audit firm or financial services sector will be an advantage.
