We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Engineer to join our Engineering, Maintenance & Projects team at our office in Port Louis. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent engineering graduate to gain hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, project execution, asset integrity, and operational excellence within a leading global energy company.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in planning and executing maintenance activities on depot equipment and facilities
• Participate in preventive and corrective maintenance programs
• Support engineering projects from design through implementation and commissioning
• Assist in contractor supervision and work permit management
• Monitor equipment performance and contribute to reliability improvement initiatives
• Participate in inspections and audits related to HSE, asset integrity, and regulatory compliance
• Prepare technical reports, maintenance records, and project documentation
• Support continuous improvement and digitalization initiatives

Candidate Profile:
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering
• Recent graduate or up to 2 years of relevant experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Commitment to safety and operational excellence
• Valid driving licence (advantageous)
