Dayanand Boholah Seafoods co. ltd. is looking for a motivate –oriented  Compliance Officer who is eager to contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional service in the logistics industry.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Monitor the organization's activities to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Conduct regular compliance reviews, audits, and risk assessments.
• Identify, assess, and report potential compliance risks and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Investigate reported or suspected compliance breaches and prepare investigation reports.
• Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of compliance records.
• Monitor regulatory and legislative changes and assess their impact on the organization.
• Provide advice and guidance to management and employees on compliance-related matters.
• Organize and deliver compliance training and awareness programs for employees.
• Review business processes and transactions to identify potential regulatory or policy violations.
• Support internal and external audits and respond to compliance-related findings.
• Prepare regular compliance reports and present significant issues to senior management.
• Ensure that corrective and preventive actions are implemented and followed up.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive business and compliance information.
• Liaise with regulators, auditors, legal advisers, and other relevant stakeholders when required.
• Promote a strong culture of ethics, integrity, accountability, and regulatory compliance within the organization.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Compliance, or a related field.
• Previous experience in compliance, risk management, internal audit, legal, banking, financial services, or a related area is preferred.
• Good knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential risks or irregularities.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
• Ability to prepare clear reports, maintain accurate records, and present findings to management.
• Strong ethical standards, integrity, and professional judgment.
• Ability to work independently and effectively with different departments.
