Seafoods co. ltd. is looking for a motivate –oriented Compliance Officer who is eager to contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional
service in the logistics industry.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Develop,
implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and internal
controls.
- Monitor
the organization's activities to ensure compliance with applicable laws,
regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct
regular compliance reviews, audits, and risk assessments.
- Identify,
assess, and report potential compliance risks and recommend appropriate
corrective actions.
- Investigate
reported or suspected compliance breaches and prepare investigation
reports.
- Ensure
proper documentation and maintenance of compliance records.
- Monitor
regulatory and legislative changes and assess their impact on the
organization.
- Provide
advice and guidance to management and employees on compliance-related
matters.
- Organize
and deliver compliance training and awareness programs for employees.
- Review
business processes and transactions to identify potential regulatory or
policy violations.
- Support
internal and external audits and respond to compliance-related findings.
- Prepare
regular compliance reports and present significant issues to senior
management.
- Ensure
that corrective and preventive actions are implemented and followed up.
- Maintain
confidentiality when handling sensitive business and compliance
information.
- Liaise
with regulators, auditors, legal advisers, and other relevant stakeholders
when required.
- Promote
a strong culture of ethics, integrity, accountability, and regulatory
compliance within the organization.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's
degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Risk
Management, Compliance, or a related field.
- Previous
experience in compliance, risk management, internal audit, legal, banking,
financial services, or a related area is preferred.
- Good
knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Strong
analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent
written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong
attention to detail and ability to identify potential risks or
irregularities.
- Good
organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability
to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally.
- Proficiency
in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Ability
to prepare clear reports, maintain accurate records, and present findings
to management.
- Strong
ethical standards, integrity, and professional judgment.
- Ability
to work independently and effectively with different departments.
