The
Operations Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end Purchase
Requisition to Purchase Order process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and
adherence to SLA and KPI targets. The role also supports PO modifications,
operational efficiency, and continuous process improvement to enhance service
delivery and procurement controls.
Key roles and responsibilities
1.Convert Purchase Requisitions (PRs) into
Purchase Orders (POs) while performing quality checks to ensure due diligence,
compliance with business standards, and adherence to SLA requirements.
2.Educate PR requestors and creators on
raising accurate and high-quality Purchase Requisitions.
3.Assign quality PRs to Spot Buyers or PO
Creation Specialists according to agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
4.Ensure effective utilization of contracts
and catalogues to drive automation and process efficiency.
5.Monitor and reduce retroactive purchases
to improve compliance and procurement controls.
6.Process PO modifications, support
tickets, and emergency business queries within required turnaround times.
7.Analyze Supplier Portal and Tracking
Reports to evaluate PO status, overdue deliveries, and supplier confirmations.
8.Perform Goods Receipt (GR) processing
accurately and within operational timelines.
9.Resolve invoice queries related to
Purchase Orders and liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely
resolution.
10.Conduct report analysis, delivery
tracking, and overdue control monitoring to support operational performance.
11.Apply logical thinking and
problem-solving skills to resolve operational issues efficiently and
effectively.
12.Support and drive continuous improvement
initiatives and new projects within procurement operations.
13.Conduct compliance reporting for business
processes to ensure adherence to company policies and procurement controls.

Characteristics: This is an offshore role and requires comfort with working in
virtual environment. RPSS is referred to as the offshore location from where
the position will be based out of. Role requires to work in collaborative
