Job Description

We
are looking for an Accounts Officer – Trade Receivables & Bank to join our Finance
team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounts
receivable, processing client billings, monitoring debt recovery, reconciling
bank and cash transactions, and supporting the Finance team in maintaining
accurate financial records and compliance with company policies.
Key
Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue
invoices to corporate clients and maintain accurate accounts receivable
records.
- Monitor debtor
ageing, follow up on outstanding payments, and support debt recovery
activities.
- Process receipts,
reconcile customer accounts, cash transactions, and daily bank deposits.
- Assist with bank
reconciliations, statutory returns, financial reports, and management
accounts.
- Respond to
customer and bank queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate
financial records and ensure proper filing of accounting documents.
- Support the
Finance team with administrative duties and collaborate with internal
departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by the employer.
Qualifications and Experience
- Higher School
Certificate (HSC), preferably progressing towards an ACCA qualification or
equivalent.
- Minimum of 2
years' practical experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Sound knowledge of
accounting and bookkeeping principles.
- Proficiency in
accounting software such as Navision and NetSuite.
- Strong
organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good attention to
detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective
communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as
part of a team.
