Customer Service Representative - After-Sales Department (Temporary - 3 Month Contract)

Albert Trading Ltd., the sole distributor of Makita in Mauritius and a leading supplier of professional tools and equipment for the construction and industrial sectors, is looking for a dedicated and skilled Customer Service Representative to join its After-Sales Department on a temporary 3-month contract basis.

• Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towards customers at all times.
• Communicate with customers and promptly acknowledge and resolve complaints and queries through various channels.
• Process customer orders and service requests.
• Keep accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
• Provide timely feedback to customers regarding the progress of their requests.
• Work closely with the Supervisor to ensure excellent customer service is consistently delivered.
• Resolve product or service issues by identifying the root cause, explaining the best solution, coordinating corrective actions, and following up to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Certificate in Business or an equivalent qualification.
• Higher School Certificate (HSC) with relevant experience will also be considered.
• Basic knowledge of PABX systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage customer enquiries and complaints effectively.
• Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Basic financial knowledge for handling transactions and understanding sales reports.
• Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
• Flexible and adaptable to a dynamic After-Sales environment.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

• Contract Type: Temporary – 3-Month Fixed-Term Contract
• Full-time position based in the Workshop, In Head Office based in Port Louis.
• Working Hours:
  • Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 17:00
  • Saturday: 08:30 – 13:00
• Overtime may be required depending on operational needs.

• Open to Mauritian residents only.
