Procurement Officer

Rey & Lenferna Ltd is a recognised institution in Trading, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) projects as well as in the Automotive Aftermarket and presently holds over 50 exclusive brand representations.

Job Profile

We are looking for a dynamic Procurement Officer who will manage the end-to-end procurement of goods and services in a cost-effective and transparent manner, ensuring compliance with Company policies and supporting operational efficiency through timely sourcing, supplier management, and effective coordination with internal stakeholders.

Role & Responsibilities: 

  • Place orders to replenish stock avoiding shortages and/or over-stocking.
  • Request for quotation from different suppliers & comparison of prices.
  • Prepare and issue Purchase Orders on ERP.
  • Follow-up approval of Purchase Orders based on Approval Matrix.
  • Liaise with suppliers for prompt delivery of goods.
  • Liaise with the Accounts Department to follow up on payment.
  • Maintain records of goods ordered and received as per purchase orders; and liaise with supplier for any order discrepancies.
  • Liaise with Clearing Department for clearance of goods for import, export and clearance.
  • Track shipments and address any delays.
  • Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments.
  • Assist customer on any logistic/procurement issues.
  • Any other cognate duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Higher School Certificate.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a procurement environment.

Knowledge, Skills & Attitude:

  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Good knowledge of procurement processes and internal controls.
  • Analytical mindset with cost evaluation capability.
  • Strong communication skills in English and French (both written and spoken)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
