Job Description

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Marketing & Sales Executive to drive business development and manage client and reinsurer relationships, with a focus on Treaty and Facultative placements. The ideal candidate will bring an existing network of contacts, particularly in French-speaking markets, and be fluent in English and either French or Spanish.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in both Treaty and Facultative reinsurance.
- Maintain and grow existing client relationships through consistent engagement and value-added services.
- Liaise with insurers and reinsurers to understand their needs and offer tailored reinsurance solutions.
- Develop marketing strategies and client pitch presentations.
- Coordinate with internal technical and broking teams for proposal development, placement, support and quote negotiations.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings (local and international).
- Keep abreast of market trends, pricing, and competitor activities, particularly in Francophone and Latin markets.
- Maintain CRM and provide regular sales reporting to senior management.

Candidate Profile
Experience & Skills
- 3–4 years of hands-on experience in reinsurance broking, underwriting, or business development.
- Strong understanding of Treaty and Facultative reinsurance across multiple lines (Property, Casualty, Specialty).
- Demonstrated ability to source, negotiate, and close reinsurance deals.
- Established relationships within the French reinsurance markets (essential).
- Previous exposure to African, European, or Latin American markets is a plus.

Education
- Degree in Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Professional qualifications such as ACII, ANZIIF, or equivalent will be an advantage.

Languages
- Fluent in English (mandatory).
- Fluency in French (highly preferred) or Spanish (advantageous).
