Job Description

Join the Cards Operations team and play a key role in supporting the smooth and efficient delivery of card and payment services. As an Assistant Level 2 – Cards Operations, you will ensure that operational and system-related activities are completed accurately and within agreed service standards. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, provide excellent customer support, maintain operational reports, and contribute to process improvements that enhance both efficiency and customer experience.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys problem-solving, collaborating with colleagues, and delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure card operational activities and eForms are processed accurately and within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Provide high-quality operational support and service to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Cards and Payments products, services, systems, and processes.
  • Investigate and resolve customer queries and operational issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate operational reports, statistics, and performance data.
  • Ensure compliance with operational procedures, controls, and confidentiality requirements.
  • Utilise Cards and Payments systems effectively, including the Card Management System and other operational tools.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to achieve departmental objectives and service standards.
  • Contribute to a positive, customer-focused, and collaborative team environment.

Profile:

  • Minimum Higher School Certificate (HSC) with a Diploma or Certificate in a related field.
  • A degree in Business, Finance, Banking, Management, or a related discipline would be an advantage.
  • Minimum of three years' experience within a Cards and Payments environment.
  • Experience within the financial services or banking sector would be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
