C-Care International, part of the healthcare cluster
of CIEL Group, is a Mauritian private healthcare group that owns and operates
four healthcare facilities in Mauritius, namely C-Care Darné, Wellkin,
Grand-Baie and Tamarin, and two hospitals in Uganda, C-Care IHK and IMC. C-Care
also owns and manages 22 primary care Clinics and 55 C-Lab collection centres
in Mauritius, Uganda, and Madagascar.
C-Care is currently looking for a Head of People
Performance & Rewards to be based at C-Care Corporate Office, in Mauritius.
| Head of People Performance & Rewards
Reporting
to the Group Chief People & CI Officer, the selected candidate will lead
the Group Centre of Expertise for People Performance & Rewards, ensuring
consistent, high-quality and data-driven HR standards, systems, performance
management and reward practices across all business units. The role will
oversee the governance and continuous improvement of HR frameworks, workforce
planning, job architecture, people analytics and HR systems, while driving
automation, simplification and operational excellence to support effective
workforce decisions and organisational performance across the Group.
What you will be doing:
- Lead the
design, implementation and continuous improvement of the Group HR
Management System, ensuring robust governance, standardisation and
operational excellence across the Group.
- Develop,
maintain and govern HR policies, SOPs, Books of Standards, management
infrastructure and governance frameworks to support consistent HR
practices.
- Lead the
annual Group HR audit programme, monitor corrective actions and strengthen
governance maturity through simplification, automation and lean process
improvement.
- Drive
organisational effectiveness initiatives through workforce planning,
productivity frameworks, organisation design reviews and workforce
optimisation strategies.
- Develop
and maintain career ladders, competency frameworks, staffing models and
productivity benchmarks to support sustainable growth and talent
development.
- Oversee
the Group Performance Management System, Job Architecture, Hay Job
Evaluation framework and reward governance practices.
- Lead
salary benchmarking, compensation framework development and market
intelligence activities to ensure competitive, fair and consistent reward
practices.
- Govern
all Group HR systems and digital HR platforms, ensuring data integrity,
reporting accuracy, system optimisation and digital transformation.
- Develop
executive HR dashboards, workforce analytics and business intelligence
tools to provide actionable insights and support strategic
decision-making.
- Lead HR
automation, digitalisation and process redesign initiatives to improve
efficiency, eliminate duplication and enhance user experience.
- Manage
the annual manpower planning and HR budget process, including workforce
costing, productivity measurement and organisational efficiency
monitoring.
- Conduct
external benchmarking and provide strategic recommendations based on
workforce analytics, financial analysis and market trends.
- Lead,
coach and develop the People Performance & Rewards team while
fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and
collaboration across the Group HR function.
- Support
Heads of HR in implementing Group standards, governance frameworks and
management infrastructure, ensuring alignment across all business units.
What are we looking for?
- Master’s degree in
Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, Business
Analytics or a related field.
- Professional
certification in Hay Job Evaluation, Compensation & Benefits, HR
Analytics, Lean/Six Sigma or Project Management would be an advantage.
- 10–15 years of
progressive leadership experience, with significant exposure to
performance management, rewards, organisational effectiveness, governance
and workforce planning.
- Proven experience in
developing and implementing operating models, HR policies, standards and
governance frameworks.
- Demonstrated
experience leading organisational effectiveness, workforce productivity,
transformation and change management initiatives.
- Strong experience in
HR systems management, workforce analytics, business intelligence and
executive reporting.
- Experience working
within multi-country, large-scale or matrix organisations is preferred.
- Sound knowledge of
organisational design, job architecture, career frameworks and succession
planning methodologies.
- Strong understanding
of workforce planning, productivity measurement, workforce analytics and
organisational performance management.
- Expertise in
compensation, benefits, salary benchmarking and reward governance
practices.
- Proficiency in HR
technologies, digital transformation initiatives and data-driven
decision-making.
- Experience in budget
management, workforce costing, financial analysis and resource
optimisation.
- Knowledge of audit
methodologies, risk management, internal controls and governance
practices.
- Experience in policy
development, management infrastructure design and continuous improvement
methodologies.
- Strong strategic,
analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data
into actionable business insights.
- Excellent
organisational skills with strong attention to detail and a commitment to
quality and governance.
- Proven ability to
drive continuous improvement, process simplification and operational
excellence.
- Strong executive
communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Demonstrated project
and programme management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple
priorities effectively.
- High level of
