Job Description

Our client is seeking to recruit a Technician who will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of equipment, machinery, or systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. The role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming goods, verify quality and quantity, and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Label and store all items in appropriate locations to ensure easy retrieval.
  • Maintain an organized and clean storage area in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Monitor stock levels and inform the supervisor of low inventory or discrepancies.
  • Issue materials and equipment to departments as per approved requests.
  • Perform regular stock counts and assist in periodic inventory audits.
  • Record all transactions using inventory management systems or manual logs.
  • Ensure proper handling and preservation of goods to avoid damage or loss.
  • Follow company policies and procedures for stock control and asset management.

Profile:

  • Diploma or degree in relevant field, e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or IT.
  • Proven experience as a technician in the relevant field.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
  • Proficiency with relevant tools, equipment, and software.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
