Alicia Originals is an international company operating across swimwear, apparel, and skincare brands with customers and partners in multiple global markets. We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and commercially minded Logistics & Operations Manager based in Mauritius to oversee and optimize our logistics, supply chain, shipping, fulfillment, and operational processes across all company activities.

This role is critical to ensuring our entire supply chain runs efficiently—from sourcing raw materials and coordinating production with suppliers and factories through to delivering finished products to wholesale clients and direct consumers worldwide. You will play a key role in improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, strengthening supplier relationships, and building scalable systems as the business continues to grow internationally.

Please note: This role requires regular travel within Mauritius to visit suppliers, factories, and logistics partners. Applicants must hold a valid driver's licence and have access to their own vehicle.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for managing all logistics, supply chain, and operational flows across our brands, including:

• International shipping
• B2C order fulfillment
• Wholesale shipments
• Supplier and factory management
• Production planning and material procurement
• Supply chain coordination from origin to end customer
• Import/export coordination
• Operational process management

You will oversee the full supply chain lifecycle, ensuring production materials are ordered on time, production schedules are met, inventory is managed efficiently, and products are delivered seamlessly from factories to warehouses, wholesale customers, and direct consumers.

You will work closely with suppliers, factories, warehouses, freight partners, and internal teams across our swimwear, apparel, and skincare businesses.

You will also help improve operational collaboration between our Mauritian and Spanish companies, ensuring efficient coordination across international markets.

This role requires someone with strong international logistics and supply chain experience who thrives in a fast-paced ecommerce and wholesale environment.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics & Shipping

• Manage international shipping and logistics operations across multiple markets.
• Coordinate B2C ecommerce fulfillment and wholesale shipments.
• Organize inbound shipments from suppliers and factories.
• Prepare and manage shipping documentation, customs clearance, import/export procedures, duties, and compliance requirements across different countries.
• Maintain a strong understanding of international trade regulations, VAT recovery, duty optimization, trade agreements, and documentation including certificates such as EUR.1, certificates of origin, and other customs requirements.
• Work closely with couriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics partners.
• Monitor shipping performance, delays, returns, claims, and delivery issues.
• Continuously identify opportunities to reduce shipping costs and improve operational efficiency.

Supply Chain & Supplier Management

• Manage relationships with suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure efficient production planning and delivery.
• Coordinate material purchasing, production quantities, and manufacturing timelines.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure production deadlines are consistently met.
• Oversee the supply chain from raw material sourcing through production, warehousing, wholesale distribution, and direct-to-consumer fulfillment.
• Work proactively to anticipate supply chain risks and resolve potential disruptions before they impact operations.
• Ensure inventory availability aligns with production schedules and sales demand.

Operations Management

• Improve logistics workflows and operational systems.
• Help structure and streamline operational processes between company entities.
• Support inventory movement and warehouse coordination.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and implement cost-saving improvements.
• Coordinate with suppliers, factories, warehouses, and internal teams to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
• Track logistics costs, supplier performance, operational timelines, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Develop scalable operational processes to support continued international growth.

Requirements

Essential

• 5+ years' experience in logistics, operations, or supply chain management.
• Strong understanding of international shipping, supply chain management, and fulfillment operations.
• Experience managing suppliers, factories, and production planning.
• Experience with both ecommerce and wholesale logistics.
• Strong knowledge of customs procedures, international trade regulations, import/export documentation, VAT, duties, and trade certificates.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, suppliers, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Based in Mauritius.
• Valid driver's licence and access to a personal vehicle.

Preferred

• Experience within fashion, apparel, beauty, skincare, or consumer goods.
• Experience working with international supply chains and multi-country operations.
• Familiarity with Shopify or ecommerce fulfillment systems.
• French and/or Spanish language skills are an advantage.
