Scope

As a Developer, you’ll play a crucial role in guiding our team, setting technical standards, and ensuring project milestones are met. You’ll interface with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications. As a developer, you will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and testing code within the Odoo ecosystem.

Duties and responsibilities

• Collaborate with management, departments, and clients to identify end-user requirements and specifications.
• Design and develop integrated application using proper convention and design standards.
• Analyze, diagnose and resolve errors related to the applications.
• Develop solutions for our clients from many different industries, sectors and company size.
• Provide support to maintain specific solutions.
• Work with development teams and managers to ideate software solutions.
• Design both client-side and server-side architecture.
• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.
• Write effective APIs.
• Test software for responsiveness and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software.
• Create security and data protection settings.
• Provide technical documentation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience

• More than 1 years of experience in software design and development.

Skills

• Programming Languages: Python and JavaScript.
• Database: PostgreSQL (With Object Rational Mapping).
• Collaboration Platform: GitHub (Nice to Have).
• Development Model: Open with external community.
• Ability to learn new language and technologies.
• Strong technical and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
• Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. (English/french)
