Job Description

Villas Resort & Spa, we are committed to delivering exceptional luxury
experiences through operational excellence and financial integrity. We are
looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Controller to join our
Finance team.
Key Responsibilities
As a Cost
Controller, you will be responsible for:
- Monitoring and analysing
food and beverage costs to support efficient inventory management.
- Updating food and beverage
costs on a daily basis.
- Conducting monthly physical
inventories in collaboration with the Storekeeper.
- Ensuring the proper storage,
receiving, and issuance of food and beverage items.
- Assisting Management with
menu costing and pricing.
- Carrying out spot checks
across Food & Beverage outlets.
- Approving store requisitions
and monitoring stock transfers between departments.
- Verifying supplier invoices
against Purchase Orders and Goods Received Notes, while ensuring accurate
General Ledger coding.
- Overseeing daily receiving
and store operations to ensure timely recording of transactions.
- Coordinating and performing month-end
inventory counts and reconciliations.
- Investigating inventory
discrepancies and preparing accurate cost reports.
- Ensuring that all menu items
have standardized recipes to support effective cost control.
- Preparing and submitting
weekly and monthly cost reports.
Profile
- Higher School Certificate
(HSC) or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years'
experience in a Cost Control or similar role, preferably within the
hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of SCM and InfoGenesis
software will be a distinct advantage.
- Strong analytical,
numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to
detail and organizational abilities.
- Good communication and
interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft
Office, particularly Excel.
