Origin’Est Distribution Ltd, a subsidiary of Alteo Agri Ltd, situated at Union Flacq is looking for a motivated and experience Lorry Helper for its distribution operations around the island.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in weighing and loading products at the packhouse and meat shop.
• Verify that all physical goods tally with the invoice/delivery note before departure.
• Report immediately to the loading team and supervisor any discrepancies and ensure corrections are made to invoices or goods.
• Accompany the Driver on delivery routes.
• Assist in unloading products at customer premises.
• Present invoices for customer acknowledgment (signature/stamp).
• Help the Driver by answering work-related calls or relaying information from the commercial team.
• Collect and verify returned products from customers (e.g., damage, excess, or wrong order).
• Tally returns against the invoice and obtain customer acknowledgment.
• Record all returns in delivery documentation accurately.
• Report reasons for returns to the commercial and production teams for corrective action.
• Report shortages, damages, or returns immediately to the Driver/Supervisor.
• Strictly comply with company policy: no cash handling.
• Ensure compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act 2005 and company food safety and handling standards.
• Perform other related duties as may reasonably be required in line with the scope of the role.

Requirements:

• 1–3 years' experience as Helper in distribution of food related products.  
• Candidate should have a good communication skills.
• Clean character certificate.
