Job Description
Our client is seeking to recruit a Digital Marketing Executive. The Digital Marketing Executive drives digital marketing strategies, partnering with local marketing and global
teams to enhance CRM, personalization, loyalty programs, and integrated campaigns. This role focuses on building digital capabilities, optimizing performance through data-driven insights, and fostering a culture of innovation. Acting as a strategic enabler, the Digital Marketing Executive ensures alignment with global priorities, supports market activation, and delivers measurable business growth through technology and customer engagement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Strategy and Planning
- Develop and execute the digital marketing strategy for the company, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Define digital objectives, KPIs, and ROI targets in partnership with the Head of Marketing
- Stay ahead of digital trends, platform updates, and competitive activity to inform local strategies.
- Support planning for loyalty programs, mobile ordering, and integrated delivery initiatives to drive customer engagement and lifetime value.
Customer Engagement
- Drive in-app personalization roadmap rollout in partnership with the technology team.
- Manage and optimize the company's App performance, ensuring seamless customer experience and adoption.
- Partner with marketing for creative, media, and branding to build digitally integrated campaign plans that enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Ensure effective execution of SEO, paid advertising, and content marketing strategies to drive traffic and conversions.
- Oversee CRM and channel communications, including email, push notifications, in-app messaging, and website content.
Data and Insights
- Measure and report performance of all digital activities against defined KPIs and ROI targets.
- Analyze customer data and campaign metrics to identify patterns, optimize spend, and improve performance.
- Implement a test-and-learn approach to foster a culture of experimentation and identify scalable tactics for growth.
- Provide actionable insights to inform future campaigns and personalization strategies.
- Support in leveraging acquisition and activation opportunities through data-driven decision-making.
Governance and Collaboration
- Act as the digital subject matter expert, offering guidance and governance on the company's App, loyalty, CRM, delivery, media, and digital engagement.
- Build internal capabilities by coaching teams on digital best practices and activations.
- Maintain strong relationships with global teams, regional stakeholders, and external agencies to ensure knowledge sharing and alignment.
- Prepare frameworks and presentations to scale the company's way of marketing and digital excellence in Mauritius.
Profile:
A degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or relevant subject preferred.
English and French fluency (written and verbal) is essential for the role.
4-6 years of relevant experience preferably in same or similar industry.
