Job Description
- Main Duties & Responsibilities
Terminal Efficiency
- Ensure minimum downtime of all Plants, Palletizer & Blender by conducting periodic preventive maintenance and inspection.
- Verify and implement weekly and monthly Preventive Maintenance Schedules.
- Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and control equipment.
- Maintain and troubleshoot computerized control equipment like PLCs, SCADA, and similar system devices.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs and perform simple machinist/electrotechnician duties.
- Ensure proper maintenance of Administrative Blocks, Sales Office, Mess Rooms & Yard.
- Support production teams during night shifts and attend to breakdowns as required.
- Monitor electrical consumption KWH and KVAH and Power Factor correction.
- Ensure proper weight calibration of equipment, packers and weights controls.
Stock Management
- Inform Supervisors about minimum stock of spares for new orders.
- Ensure availability of minimum spares in hand in the workshop for quick intervention.
- Participate in defining critical spares of equipment.
- Ensure availability of equipment and tools in maintenance workshop.
Health & Safety
- Comply strictly with Cementis Health & Safety Management policies and group standards.
- Conduct HERA / HECP risk assessments before any intervention.
- Ensure all housekeeping is maintained in a clear and orderly fashion in assigned areas.
- Holder of a Secondary Level Education Certificate.
- Holder of a Brevet de Technicien (BT) in Electrical/Electrotechnics or alternative equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2 years’ work experience in a related field.
- Fluent in English, French, and Creole.
