Job Title: Outdoor Sales Representative

Job Summary

The Outdoor Sales Representative is responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, and achieving sales targets by promoting the company's range of construction materials and interior decorative products. The role involves regular field visits to contractors, builders, architects, interior designers, developers, retailers, and other business customers to generate sales and increase market presence.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across assigned territories.
  • Prospect and acquire new customers through regular field visits, networking, and referrals.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with contractors, builders, developers, architects, interior designers, quantity surveyors, and corporate clients.
  • Expand the company's customer base and increase market share.

Sales & Customer Management

  • Promote and sell the company's range of construction materials and interior decoration products, including gypsum boards, wall panels, partitioning systems, ceilings, and related accessories.
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
  • Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing within approved limits, and close sales.
  • Follow up on quotations to maximize conversion into confirmed orders.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on customer enquiries and after-sales service.

Sales Administration

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer visits, quotations, orders, and sales forecasts.
  • Coordinate with the showroom, warehouse, logistics, and accounts departments to ensure smooth order processing and timely deliveries.
  • Assist in debt collection and follow up on outstanding customer payments where required.

Product Knowledge

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of all products, technical specifications, applications, and installation methods.
  • Attend product training sessions and stay updated on new product launches.
