Job Description

SCOPE: To plan, lead and control all housekeeping operations to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, presentation and guest comfort across guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house, in line with brand standards and budgetary controls.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  •  Oversee daily housekeeping operations including rooms, public areas, laundry and linen control
  • Establish and monitor housekeeping standards, SOPs and checklists
  • Prepare departmental budgets, manpower planning and cost control
  • Manage recruitment, training, performance evaluation and discipline of staff
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas
  • Coordinate closely with Front Office and Maintenance departments
  • Manage inventory, procurement and usage of cleaning supplies and linen
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene regulations

  • Handle guest complaints related to housekeeping professionally and promptly
  • Prepare reports on occupancy, productivity, costs and KPIs
  • Act as trainer  for Housekeeping  Team
  • Act as Duty Manager
