Job Description


Paragon Motors Ltd is looking for a dynamic, experienced, and detail-oriented Accounts Supervisor to join its Finance Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, compliance with accounting standards, and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and reconcile bank accounts, control accounts, and intercompany accounts.
  • Monitor and resolve bank-related issues, including anomalies and cheque differences.
  • Oversee customer accounts, credit sales transactions, and outstanding receivables.
  • Review journals, reconciliations, and accounting entries to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements.
  • Coordinate year-end audit requirements and prepare audit schedules.
  • Monitor cash flow and support financial planning activities.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, statutory requirements, and Company policies.
  • Provide guidance, support, and supervision to members of the Accounts Team.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

  • ACCA Qualified or at least ACCA Level 3 completed (or equivalent qualification).
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in accounting, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with accounting software/ERP systems will be an advantage.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines.
