Job Description
Position Summary:
The Sales Representative, Technical Support
& Project Coordinator will play a key role in driving business development,
providing technical expertise on lighting and electrical solutions, conducting
product demonstrations, and coordinating projects from initial client
engagement through successful completion.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong
technical background in engineering and electronics, excellent communication
skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service while
promoting world-class Philips Lighting (Signify) solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and
develop new business opportunities within the commercial, industrial,
residential, and public sectors.
- Build and
maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, architects,
engineers, developers, and end-users.
- Promote and
sell Philips Lighting (Signify) products and solutions.
- Prepare and
present technical and commercial proposals to clients.
- Conduct site
visits to assess customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
- Achieve sales
targets and contribute to the company's growth objectives.
- Monitor
market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
Technical Support
- Provide
technical guidance and support to customers regarding lighting and
electrical products.
- Assist
clients in selecting appropriate lighting solutions based on project
requirements and applicable standards.
- Respond to
technical inquiries and troubleshoot product-related issues.
- Collaborate
with suppliers and internal teams to resolve technical concerns
efficiently.
- Ensure that
all proposed solutions comply with industry regulations and technical
specifications.
Product Demonstrations
- Conduct
professional product presentations and demonstrations for clients,
consultants, and stakeholders.
- Showcase the
features, benefits, and applications of Philips Lighting (Signify)
products and systems.
- Organize and
participate in exhibitions, trade events, and customer engagement
activities.
- Deliver
technical training sessions to customers and partners when required.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate
lighting and electrical projects from quotation stage through
implementation and completion.
- Liaise with
clients, contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure smooth project
execution.
- Monitor
project timelines, deliverables, and budgets.
- Follow up on
material deliveries, installations, and project milestones.
- Ensure
customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare
project reports and maintain accurate project documentation.
Qualifications &
Requirements
Education
- Degree in
Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience & Technical Competencies
- Solid
knowledge of lighting systems, electrical products, and related
technologies.
- Experience in
technical sales, project coordination, or electrical/lighting solutions
will be a definite advantage.
- Strong
understanding of lighting design principles and energy-efficient
technologies.
- Ability to
interpret technical specifications, drawings, and project requirements.
- Proficiency
in Microsoft Office applications.
