ACCA/CA qualified
At least 3 years experience in a similar position
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, English and French
Demonstrate highest standards of personal and professional integrity

Strong leadership skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficient in MS Office in general

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for managing the day to day operations of the accounting function of the company and its subsidiaries
Prepare monthly Management Accounts, quarterly and year-end Financial Statements within set deadlines
Responsible for budgeting, forecasting, audit exercise, internal control and assets and liabilities reconciliation
Responsible to support and liaise with the Hotel Manager and Group Finance Manager in achieving the company’s objectives
Responsible for developing an efficient and professional team within the Accounting Department
Responsible for the close monitoring of Trade Receivables, Trade Payables, Inventories, Fixed Asset Register and bank reconciliations
Implementing and overseeing all activities relating to the financial aspects of the hotel in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Ensure compliance with all contracts, hotel licenses and other regulatory requirements.
Liaise with Internal and External Auditors and ensure audit recommendations are implemented within agreed timeframe
