Job Description

Our client is seeking to recruit a Head of Sales who will report to the Head of Operation and Managing Director. The Head of Sales will be responsible for building, leading and developing the company's entire commercial function. This is a strategic leadership role, with the primary objective of driving sustainable sales growth across the company and distribution channels.

Responsibilities:

  • To recruit, manage, coach and develop a high-performing sales team by establishing clear objectives and KPIs, creating a strong sales culture, and ensuring collaboration across all commercial channels.
  • Regularly visit key clients and prospects-including hotels, restaurants, cafés, offices, supermarkets and retail partners-to strengthen relationships, identify new business opportunities, support negotiations and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. 
  • Build strong customer relationship and ensure the achievement of the company sales objectives.
  • Accompany and coach the sales team during client visits when required.
  • Develop and execute the company's commercial strategy, identify new business opportunities, manage key accounts, negotiate major commercial agreements, monitor sales performance, analyse market trends, and work closely with the Managing Director to support the company's long-term growth.
Profile:
  • Minimum 7–10 years in B2B sales.
  • At least 3–5 years in a sales management role.
  • Strong HORECA, FMCG or beverage industry experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools.
  • Proven records of growing revenue and leading teams
  • Natural leader with strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking. 
  • Excellent communicator and negotiator, results-driven and capable of building high performance teams.
  • Proven experience in managning sales team and ideally an existing network  within the Mauritian hospitality industry, FMCG or coffee industry would be a strong advantage.
