Head of Sicorax GMC Projects

As part of the continued growth of Uniconsults Ltd we are looking for an experienced and dynamic

Head of Sicorax GMC Projects to lead our implementation team and ensure the successful delivery

of client projects.

GMC comprises of the following softwares :

SACC – Sicorax Accounting

SFAR – Sicorax Fixed Asset Register

SGC – Sicorax Gestion Commerciale

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 Lead and manage the Sicorax GMC Projects team.

 Plan, coordinate and monitor implementation projects from project kick-off to Go Live.

 Allocate projects and resources to ensure timely delivery.

 Define and continuously improve implementation standards, methodologies and best

practices.

 Coach, mentor and develop team members to enhance their technical and functional

competencies.

 Ensure high-quality project delivery while maintaining excellent client satisfaction.

 Manage complex client issues and provide guidance on critical implementations.

 Monitor project progress, deadlines, quality standards and key performance indicators.

 Work closely with Product Development by providing client feedback and enhancement

requests.

 Develop and maintain implementation documentation, training materials and knowledge

base.

 Foster collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement within the team.

 Report regularly to Management on project status, risks and team performance.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

 Solid accounting background and sound knowledge of Mauritian taxation, VAT, Income Tax,

Financial Reporting and statutory compliance requirements

 Ability to guide Clients and Team on elaboration of COA and in implementing Accounting

best practices

 Previous experience leading or supervising a team

 Excellent project planning and organisational skills

 Experience on Sicorax Accounting or another accounting software would be a definite

advantage

 Experience in software implementation or project management would be an advantage.

 Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

 Very well versed with advanced Excel features and some database knowledge

recommended

 Strong communication and presentation skills

 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

 Client-focused, proactive and results-driven

 Ability to handle confidential information
