C-Care International, part of the healthcare cluster of CIEL Group, is a Mauritian private healthcare group that owns and operates four healthcare facilities in Mauritius, namely C-Care Darné, Wellkin, Grand-Baie and Tamarin, and two hospitals in Uganda, C-Care IHK and IMC. C-Care also owns and manages 22 primary care Clinics and 55 C-Lab collection centres in Mauritius, Uganda, and Madagascar.
C-Care is currently looking for an IT Support Officer to be based at C-Care Hospitals and Clinics, in Mauritius.
| IT Support Officer
Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, the selected candidate will provide timely and effective IT support across C-Care Wellkin, C-Care Grand Baie, and C-Care Corporate by assisting users with technical issues, maintaining IT systems and equipment, and ensuring business continuity. The role contributes to a reliable, secure, and efficient IT environment that supports both patient care and business operations.
What you will be doing:
• Provide timely IT
support for hardware, software, network, and system issues across all C-Care
sites to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
• Identify recurring technical issues and recommend improvements to enhance
service quality, reduce downtime, and improve operational efficiency.
• Share technical knowledge and provide training and support to colleagues to
promote teamwork, service excellence, and continuous learning.
• Collaborate effectively with users, vendors, and internal departments to
ensure timely and efficient IT service delivery.
• Ensure all IT activities comply with Group IT policies, cybersecurity
standards, and audit requirements.
• Identify, report, and assist in resolving IT risks, security incidents, and
system vulnerabilities.
• Participate in IT infrastructure projects, technology deployments, and
continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IT services and support
innovation.
What are we looking for?
• Bachelor’s degree in
Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft, Cisco) are an
advantage.
• 1–3 years of relevant IT support experience.
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network
issues.
• Healthcare industry experience is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows environments.
• Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and remote support tools.
• Knowledge of basic networking concepts, including LAN, WAN, and VPN.
• Understanding of cybersecurity practices and tools.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities under
pressure.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer service-oriented with a focus on user satisfaction.
• Demonstrates accountability and ownership of assigned tasks.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
