Job Description
The Industrial Mechanic Intern will support the Maintenance Team in
ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of production
machinery and equipment. The internship provides practical, hands-on experience
in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment installation, and
continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment while developing
technical competencies and safe work practices.
Duties of
Industrial Mechanics:

Collaborate with senior mechanics in diagnosing and resolving mechanical
issues and carry out repairs to minimize downtime.
·
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery
and equipment
·
Replace worn or defective components such as bearings, belts, chains,
gears, and seals.
·
Perform routine inspections and lubrication of machinery.
·
Assist in the installation and commissioning of machinery and equipment.
·
Maintain maintenance records and report equipment issues to the
supervisor.
·
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and
company procedures.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing or
recently completed a Diploma or Degree in:
· - Mechanical Engineering
· - Industrial Maintenance
· - Mechatronics
· - Electromechanical Engineering
· - Industrial Engineering
·
or a related technical field.

By the end of the internship, the Industrial Mechanic Intern should be able to:
