Zenith Contracting Ltd is a growing construction company in Mauritius specializing in the construction of residential homes, luxury villas, apartments, commercial buildings, renovations, and civil engineering works.As our portfolio of projects continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Measure quantities from drawings and site measurements.
• Prepare and submit interim payment applications and final accounts.
• Subcontractors fortnightly and Monthly Payment
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations and prepare comparisons.
• Prepare variation orders and help Qs in the process of cost reporting
• Assist in tender preparation and pricing.
• Verify subcontractor and supplier invoices.
• Ensure all commercial documentation is properly maintained.

Skills & Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in the construction industry.
• Good knowledge of construction methods and materials.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Candy software is an advantage.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Valid driving licence is an advantage.
