Reporting to the Security Supervisor, the selected candidate will have the responsibility to ensure the security of the building, its occupants and contents.

What you will be doing:

• Keep a permanent watch on the building entrances with a view to assisting people or preventing problems as the case may be.
• Prevent access to lifts/staircases to unauthorized visitors outside visiting hours.
• Provide assistance to patients requiring wheelchairs at the entrance.
• Keep an eye on Cashiers’ and Secretaries’ counters on the ground floor where money is being handled and may attract potential robbers.
• Provide assistance to nursing staff when requested by authorized personnel.
• Ensure daily check and the proper operation of lifts, security grilles, night lights and door locks.
• Note any problem or unusual event in the Occurrence Book (giving precise details such as time of occurrence and name/s of person/s involved) and report to the appropriate people.

What are we looking for?

• School Certificate.
• Should have at least 1-year experience in similar post.
• Good communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
