Trainee Corporate– (11 Months)

The Trainee Corporate will support the Corporate Relationship Manager in delivering efficient and customer-focused banking solutions to businesses. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in coporate operations, credit assessment, customer relationship management, and portfolio administration while developing the knowledge and skills required for a career in financial services.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The key responsibilities are not limited to the following:

·       Assist in processing corporate applications from receipt to disbursement.

·      Collect, verify, and maintain customer documentation in accordance with the Bank's policies and regulatory requirements.

·       Support the preparation of credit proposals.

·       Liaise with corporate customers and internal stakeholders to facilitate timely processing of applications.

·       Monitor corporate files to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal procedures.

·       Assist in portfolio monitoring, reporting, and follow-up on outstanding requirements.

·       Provide quality customer service by responding promptly to customer enquiries.

·       Maintain accurate records and update leasing systems and databases.

·       Support the team in achieving departmental objectives and service standards.

·       Perform any other duties assigned by the Head or designated Relationship Manager.

 

PREREQUISITES:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Recent graduate or candidate with up to one year of relevant work experience.
  • Strong interest in customer service, credit, and financial services.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • A willingness to learn and develop within a dynamic banking environment.
