IT
OFFICER – Job Profile
The IT Officer
will be responsible for maintaining and supporting all KFC outlets & ESC, information
technology systems and infrastructure. This includes ensuring that
all technology is updated and operating efficiently, troubleshooting
technical issues, actively contributing to any IT Forum and
providing support to all stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Install, Configure and Update computer hardware,
operating systems and applications.
- Support staff through different medium,
either face-to-face, remotely or over the telephone to help set
up systems or resolve issues including procedural documentation and
relevant reports. Escalating to Suppliers and follow
up where necessary.
- Train/Coach employees on the use of various
technology systems and provide adequate support.
- Follow diagrams and written instructions to
repair a fault or set up a system.
- Set up new users' accounts and get
consent of users as per IT procedures/policies.
- Maintain the local area network (LAN) and wide
area network (WAN).
- Implement, draft & maintain of
IT & ISO policies & procedures to Project estimates.
- Participate
in and support audits and ensure corrective and preventive actions are
tracked and executed to completion.
- Participate
to the achievement of business goals through knowledge sharing, productive
contribution to brainstorming sessions for problem resolution.
- Actively
build collaborative relationships by listening to staff needs.
- Liaising &
coordinating with suppliers for quote/purchase/delivery/installation as
per quality standards.
- Maintain Stock of Critical Spare parts
- May be
called to participate in regional projects
- Any Other IT related tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related
field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Holder of a valid driving license
Competencies
- Strong knowledge of IT systems and
infrastructure.
- Knowledge of networking systems, database
management, and programming skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and
multitask.

Pro-activeness
- Flexibility to work outside of regular business
hours as & when needed.
