Job Description
FACILITIES
MAINTENANCE OFFICER – Job Profile
The Facilities Maintenance Officer will
support the Development and Asset Manager in the overall management of KFC's
assets and will also coordinate maintenance activities across its outlets.
Duties and Responsibilities
·
Conduct
routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and infrastructure to identify
maintenance needs.
·
Coordinate
and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
·
Supervise
contractors to ensure work is completed according to specifications and safety
standards.
·
Evaluate
contractor performance and service quality.
·
Obtain
quotations and assist with procurement of maintenance services and materials.
·
Monitor
utility consumption and recommend energy-saving initiatives.
·
Assist
in preparing and monitoring maintenance budgets.
·
Liaise
with approved pest control contractors and ensure treatments are carried out
according to agreed schedules and regulatory requirements.
·
Maintain
records of pest control inspections, treatments, and contractor reports.
Requirements
·
Diploma
in Civil or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
·
Proven
experience in facility maintenance
·
Holder of a valid
driving license
Competencies
·
Strong
organizational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
·
Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication with
internal teams and contractors.
·
Ability
to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
·
Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills.
·
Proficient
in Microsoft Office.
·
Conversant
with AutoCAD
·
Conversant
with ''GMAO'' or any maintenance management software.
