Accounts Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate daily accounting activities.
- Review accounting entries and ensure accurate posting to the general ledger.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare and review journal entries and supporting schedules.
- Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and documentation.
- Support the preparation of management accounts and financial reports.
- Monitor compliance with internal controls, company policies, and financial procedures.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Coordinate with external auditors and provide required documentation.
Payroll Administration
- Supervise the end-to-end payroll process for all employees.
- Verify payroll inputs including attendance, overtime, leave records, allowances, deductions, and benefits.
- Ensure payroll is processed accurately and within established deadlines.
- Review payroll reconciliations and payroll-related journal entries.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, tax regulations, and social security requirements.
- Prepare statutory returns and submissions to relevant authorities.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of employee payroll information.
- Resolve payroll-related queries and discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with PNC department regarding employee movements, salary changes, and employment records.
- Distribution of Payslip monthly
Qualification:
- Middle or Secondary Education + Additional training or certificates in the relevant field is a plus.
Experience:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in hotel industry.
- Proven experience working in a top luxury resorts is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports is a plus.
Technical skills:
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures.
- Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Aptitude for numbers.
- Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks.
- Data entry and word processing skills.
- Knowledge of compliance with applicable standards, procedures and laws.
- Fluency in English or another language, written and verbal communication.
- Knowledge of a second language is a plus
