Job Description

Accounts Supervision

  • Supervise and coordinate daily accounting activities.
  • Review accounting entries and ensure accurate posting to the general ledger.
  • Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare and review journal entries and supporting schedules.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and documentation.
  • Support the preparation of management accounts and financial reports.
  • Monitor compliance with internal controls, company policies, and financial procedures.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and provide required documentation.

Payroll Administration

  • Supervise the end-to-end payroll process for all employees.
  • Verify payroll inputs including attendance, overtime, leave records, allowances, deductions, and benefits.
  • Ensure payroll is processed accurately and within established deadlines.
  • Review payroll reconciliations and payroll-related journal entries.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, tax regulations, and social security requirements.
  • Prepare statutory returns and submissions to relevant authorities.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of employee payroll information.
  • Resolve payroll-related queries and discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with PNC department regarding employee movements, salary changes, and employment records.
  • Distribution of Payslip monthly

Qualifications

Qualification:

  • Middle or Secondary Education + Additional  training or certificates in the relevant field is a plus.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in hotel industry.
  • Proven experience working in a top luxury resorts is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports is a plus.

Technical skills:

  • Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures.
  • Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Aptitude for numbers.
  • Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks.
  • Data entry and word processing skills.
  • Knowledge of compliance with applicable standards, procedures and laws.
  • Fluency in English or another language, written and verbal communication.
  • Knowledge of a second language is a plus
