Job Description
We are looking for 2 sales assistants for our Mahebourg & Surinam Branch.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a warm welcome.
- Interact with clients, offer assistance and respond to queries about products.
- Recommend and display items that match clients needs
- Actively involved in the receiving of new product
- Interact with clients and accurately describe product functions and benefits
- Ensure proper recording of sales on the system.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondences including emails, letters and phone calls
- Answer calls in a professional and courteous way, respond to inquiries and provide accurate info about our products and services, make an effort to satisfy caller’s needs, and to direct calls to the appropriate department when needed.
- Assist with clients’ quotes and do follow-ups.
- Ensure all work books are kept safe, information input is correct, report to management done properly
- Oversee Debtors
- Assist with functions related to managing supplier accounts
- Handle customer complaints and provide correct solutions in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Provide administrative support in the day-to-day activities
Requirements:
- Minimum holder of HSC certificate.
- Previous experience in a receptionist, sales assistant and customer service role is required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Good team spirit, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Multi-tasking abilities
- Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- A strong customer-centric mindset, prioritizing customer needs and satisfaction.
- Ability to preserve confidentiality while handling sensitive information
- Attention to details and accuracy in all aspects of work
