Job Description

Main Duties

·     Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Act 2005

·     Monitor environmental protection indicators and advise Management on any issues

·     Carry out regular occupational safety and health audits to identify risks to safety and health, assess the need for preventive measures and advise Management accordingly

·     Make regular inspections on the different company premises

·     Organise and carry out fire drills at least once yearly

·     Apply for relevant permits

·     Recommend on specifications of suitable and appropriate Personal Protective Equipment

·     Compile all injury statistics and report to management on a monthly basis

·     Design and implement appropriate training programmes to promote safety culture

·     Review any measure, method, procedure or technique adopted to ensure occupational safety and health

 

 Profile

·        Holder of a valid driving licence

·        Good knowledge of Occupational Safety & Health Act 2005 and related legislations

·        Good knowledge of Microsoft office tools

·        Good leadership and organisational skills

·        Good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills

·        Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure and meet deadlines
