Job Description

As an Interior Design Draftsman / CAD Technician, you will:

• Prepare accurate 2D technical drawings and detailed construction documentation using AutoCAD.
• Translate design concepts, sketches, and specifications into professional technical drawings.
• Produce floor plans, elevations, sections, joinery details, and shop drawings.
• Coordinate with interior designers, project managers, and contractors to ensure drawings meet project requirements.
• Revise and update drawings based on client feedback and project changes.
• Maintain drawing standards and ensure all documentation is accurate and complete.
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation throughout the design and construction process.

Skills & Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in CAD drafting, preferably within the interior design, architecture, or construction industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD with the ability to produce accurate technical drawings.
• Knowledge of interior detailing, construction methods, and materials is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret design sketches, plans, and technical specifications.
• Good time management skills with the ability to meet project deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop professionally.
