Job Description
Leal Equipements Cie Ltee - a member of Leal Group -
is currently looking for Workshop Attendant.
A Workshop Attendant assists in the
smooth operation of the workshop by supporting the Workshop Officer in the
preparation, issuance, and control of tools, equipment, and materials from the
Toolroom and Oil Store. The incumbent helps maintain accurate records, ensures
the proper storage and handling of supplies, and contributes to a clean, safe,
and organized working environment. Through these duties, the Workshop Attendant
supports efficient workflow and enhances the overall productivity of the
workshop.
The Workshop Attendant is also
responsible for maintaining the general cleanliness and housekeeping standards
of the workshop, working areas, and offices.
Main Duties:
- Carry out workshop housekeeping
activities.
- Maintain cleanliness of
workshop working areas, offices, and surrounding premises.
- Support the operations of the
Toolroom and Oil Store.
- Assist in the receipt, storage,
issuance, and control of tools, oils, and workshop consumables.
- Ensure proper handling and
storage of equipment and materials.
- Maintain records as required by
the Workshop Officer.
- Comply with health, safety, and
environmental procedures at all times.
- Clean workshop equipment and tools as required.
- Perform driver, messenger, or other support duties when
assigned.
- Undertake any other related duties within the scope of
the position as may be assigned by Management.
Qualifications , Experience & Skills Required:
- Minimum Higher School
Certificate (HSC) or equivalent.
- Any additional certifications or relevant training will
be considered an advantage
- Minimum of three (3) years' relevant work experience.
- Holder of a valid Forklift Operator's Licence
- Experience in operating forklifts or other
material-handling equipment.
- Experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or
warehouse operations will be an advantage.
- Good housekeeping and organizational skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal
supervision.
- Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and
punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual
handling and housekeeping duties.
