Job Description
As a Spa Therapist/Receptionist & Beautician, you will provide professional hair styling and makeup services while creating memorable guest experiences through personalized consultations, exceptional customer care, and expert product knowledge. You will play an active role in promoting the Spa's services and retail offerings while ensuring the highest standards of hygiene, professionalism, and luxury hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver professional hair styling and makeup services in accordance with Maradiva Spa standards.
- Conduct guest consultations to identify preferences, contraindications, allergies, and individual beauty needs.
- Recommend suitable hairstyles, makeup looks, beauty treatments, and retail products.
- Promote and actively up sell Spa services, salon treatments, wellness experiences, and retail products.
- Maintain impeccable hygiene, sanitation, and sterilization standards in all salon areas and equipment.
- Prepare treatment areas before each appointment and restore them after every service.
- Coordinate daily appointments with the Spa Reception team to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate guest consultation records and treatment history.
- Ensure all salon equipment, products, and workstations are maintained in excellent condition.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures of the Spa and support other operational areas when required.
- Participate actively in training programme and maintain knowledge of current beauty trends, products, and techniques.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while creating a warm, welcoming, and relaxing environment for every guest.
Profile
We are looking for candidates who possess:
- Professional qualification in Hairdressing and/or Makeup Artistry.
- Previous experience in a luxury hotel, resort, salon, or spa environment.
- Excellent knowledge of hair styling, bridal and occasion makeup, beauty products, and current industry trends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
- Sales-oriented mindset with confidence in promoting services and retail products.
- Excellent grooming and professional presentation.
- Ability to work independently and within a multicultural team.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Basic computer literacy will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of first aid and health & safety practices is desirable.
