Job Description

Ideco Ltd, your trusted leader in home décor for over 40 years, is expanding its team and operations. We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Quantity & Technical Coordinator to support the successful planning and execution of our flooring projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate quantity take-offs, project cost estimates and material requirements.
  • Prepare flooring cutting plans and optimise material utilisation.
  • Assist Sales Team with project pricing and tender costing.
  • Coordinate installation planning in collaboration with the Flooring Technical Supervisor.
  • Liaise with clients to schedule installations, surveys, interventions and project appointments.
  • Prepare and maintain installation schedules and planning calendars.
  • Coordinate installation priorities and team allocation requirements with the Flooring Technical Supervisor.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure planning schedules remain updated.
  • Prepare and maintain project costing files, technical records and planning documentation.
  • Support tender preparation by preparing quantity calculations, project cost breakdowns and technical information.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Stores and Installation Teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently and within agreed deadlines.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Building Technology, Quantity Surveying, Project Management or a related field.
  • Minimum three (3) years' experience in project coordination, technical administration, construction, flooring or a related industry.
  • Experience in quantity take-offs, project costing, material planning or installation coordination.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, layouts and technical specifications.
  • Strong planning, organisational and coordination skills.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication and customer relationship skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with ERP systems.
  • Valid driving licence.
