Real Estate Agent – Sales & Administration
Are you ready to take your career to the next level in the vibrant Construction, Architecture and Property sector?
We are looking for a motivated, dynamic and detail-oriented Real Estate Agent to join our team in Mauritius. This full-time position combines both sales responsibilities and sales administration duties, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to be involved in the full residential real estate sales cycle, from client prospecting and relationship management to documentation, follow-up and finalisation of the Deed of Sale.
The ideal candidate should be proactive, customer-focused, organised and capable of managing both commercial and administrative responsibilities with professionalism, accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Client Relationship Management
- Identify, approach and follow up with potential clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners and stakeholders.
- Understand client requirements and propose suitable property solutions.
- Present and promote the company’s projects, services and offerings in a professional manner.
- Actively participate in open days, sales expos, property fairs and other promotional events to generate leads, engage with prospective clients and promote the company’s projects and services.
- Support the sales process from client enquiry to successful closing.
- Keep abreast of market trends within the Construction, Architecture and Property sectors.
- Provide timely feedback to management on client requirements, market opportunities and sales progress.
- Contribute to the achievement of sales targets and business development objectives.
Sales Administration and Documentation
- Follow up on KYC, Customer Due Diligence and signature of the Client Reservation Process until completion of the Deed of Sale.
- Monitor lead time relating to signatures, payments and client documentation.
- Request Statements of Account, process purchase orders and issue sales transaction invoices, where required.
- Compile and submit monthly sales reports.
- Contact clients by phone and/or email to respond to queries and obtain any missing information.
- Register, update and maintain client and partner information on the CRM system.
- Update master schedules and track documents, payments and other items received or outstanding.
- Support the Sales Department with administrative tasks as and when required.
Economic Development Board Follow-Up
- Follow up with the Economic Development Board for letters of approval.
- Follow up with the EDB for approvals and issuance of Letters of Authorisation.
- Apply for relevant permits on behalf of clients and ensure proper follow-up until completion.
Notary and Legal Coordination
- Prepare all necessary documents required to finalise the Deed of Sale of units under the client’s personal name, company, trust or any other applicable structure.
- Follow up with relevant institutions for the preparation of documents relating to companies, trusts or other legal structures.
- Verify the Deed of Sale prior to sending same to the client, once payment has been received.
- Confirm the date and time for signature of the Deed of Sale with the client and the notary.
- Follow up with the notary for the preparation of the Power of Attorney, where applicable.
- Manage and follow up on payments relating to reservation fees, notary fees and registration fees made by clients.
Call for Funds
- Prepare “Call for Funds” letters for each customer at the different stages of construction.
- Verify client name, address, lot number, date of signature and all relevant details before issuance.
- Follow up on funds received and chase clients for outstanding payments where payment has not been effected.
The incumbent shall also perform any other duties or assignments as may be delegated by the Head of Department or Management.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should be confident in dealing with clients, rigorous in administrative follow-up and capable of handling several files simultaneously. The role requires a professional individual who can combine sales drive with strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a high standard of customer service.
Education and Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Sales, Marketing, Real Estate, Management or any other related field.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification would be an advantage.

Relevant Experience
- Minimum of five years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in real estate sales, sales administration, property sales support, client relationship management, legal coordination or administrative support.
- Prior experience in the Construction, Architecture, Property or Real Estate sector would be a strong advantage.
