ROLE OF RELATIONSHIP MANAGER - GLOBAL BUSINESS

The Relationship Manager – Global Business is accountable to build and manage relationship with global businesses so as to ensure optimum customer acquisition, retention and income generation from sales of all appropriate Assets, Liability and Cash management products of the bank.

The Relationship Manager – Global Business ensure delivery of industry-leading customer service in terms of on boarding experience and advisory service to new and existing corporate clients.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development and Portfolio Management

o   Manage the development of prudently priced assets, cost effective long-term liability with reputable companies in order to ensure Bank’s maximum profitability.

o   Identify and develop a target pipeline and effectively market for new profitable clients from the targeted sectors.

o   Manage key customer relationships through regular contacts and visits by ensuring the effective call program is maintained on all assigned and prospect customers.

o   Play an active role in cross selling bank’s products across all segments (Trade Finance, SME, private banking, group referral)

Internal Stakeholder Management

o   Proactively collaborate with all teams at the Bank to ensure delivery of industry-leading customer service to new and existing corporate clients.

o   Build and maintain good working relationships with all relevant internal stakeholders (Compliance, credit origination, credit risk, treasury, legal, back office, etc…)

Compliance

o   Ensure compliance to KYC and AML/ CFT requirements in all dealings with existing and potential customers.

o   Close all compliance monitoring, alerts within set deadline.

Continuous Improvement

o   Participate in the continuous improvement of internal processes in place. 


WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

Your Track Record

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Banking, or a related field

Being a qualified Chartered Banker will constitute a definite advantage

At least 10 years’ experience in the Banking sector among which 3 years’ within the Corporate Banking

The Rulebook

Ensure full compliance with all banking regulations, AML/CFT standards, and KYC/CDD policies and operating procedures.

Market Knowledge and Product Expertise

Maintain a strong understanding of the current economic, fiscal, regulatory, and legal environments affecting corporate banking.

Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Corporate Banking products to effectively advise clients and manage portfolios.

Portfolio Management

Drive business growth through excellent portfolio management skills and a strong ability to convince and negotiate.

Bilingual Communication

Deliver exceptional oral and written communication in both English and French.

Agility & Collaboration

Thrive in a fast-paced environment working independently, collaborating with teams and managing multiple tasks.
