Job Description

The Trainee – Credit Services Unit (CSU) will support the day-to-day operations of the Credit Services Unit by assisting with credit administration, processing customer credit-related requests, maintaining accurate records, and providing administrative support while gaining practical experience in credit operations and financial services.

 Key Responsibilities

·        Assist in the processing and administration of retail and corporate credit facilities in accordance with the Bank's policies and procedures.

·        Verify customer information and supporting documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy prior to credit processing.

·        Prepare, update and maintain customer credit files and records within the Bank's systems.

·        Support the preparation of credit documentation, facility letters and security documents under supervision.

·        Monitor outstanding documentation and follow up with internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of credit files.

·        Perform data entry and ensure the accuracy of customer and credit-related information.

·        Assist in the disbursement process by ensuring all pre-disbursement conditions have been fulfilled.

·        Liaise with Branches and other internal departments to facilitate the efficient processing of credit requests.

·        Ensure compliance with the Bank's credit policies, regulatory requirements, and internal control procedures.

·        Undertake any other duties assigned by the Head of Credit Services Unit or designated supervisor.

Prerequisites

·        Higher School Certificate (HSC) or equivalent qualification.

·        Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

·        Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.

·        Previous administrative or customer service experience is an advantage but not essential.
