Job Description
Azure
Outsourcing Services, on behalf of Super Screen Mauritius Ltd, is
recruiting a dedicated Installation & Maintenance Technician.
Key Responsibilities
Preventive Maintenance
- Develop,
maintain, and update a preventive maintenance schedule for all deployed
digital signage equipment.
- Conduct
quarterly maintenance visits to all customer sites.
- Perform
routine inspections to ensure equipment reliability and optimal
performance.
- Maintain
accurate maintenance records and service history for each installation.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Diagnose
and resolve hardware issues affecting displays, media players, networking
equipment, and peripherals.
- Perform
software updates, CMS updates, firmware upgrades, and system
configurations.
- Troubleshoot
connectivity, content display, and system performance issues.
- Escalate
complex technical issues when required.
- Provide
off-site & on-site technical support to client’s.
Installation & Deployment
- Deliver
equipment to customer locations.
- Install
digital screens, brackets, media players, networking equipment, and
related accessories.
- Perform
drilling, wall mounting, cable routing, and equipment setup according to
company standards.
- Configure
and test CMS software and ensure proper content playback before project
handover.
- Provide
basic user training to customers upon installation.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare
weekly installation and maintenance reports.
- Document
completed works, technical issues identified, corrective actions taken,
and recommendations.
- Maintain
inventory records of spare parts, tools, and equipment.
- Update customer installation and maintenance databases.
Customer Service
- Represent
the company professionally during site visits.
- Maintain
positive relationships with customers and ensure a high level of service
satisfaction.
- Respond
promptly to maintenance requests and service calls.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Technical
qualification in Electronics, IT Installation, Networking, or a related
field.
- Previous
experience in digital signage, audiovisual systems, IT support, CCTV,
networking installation, or a similar technical role is an advantage.
Technical Skills
- Basic
networking knowledge (IP addresses, routers, Wi-Fi).
- Familiarity
with Windows & Android operating systems.
- Experience
with hand and power tools.
- Ability
to install TV brackets, screens, and related hardware.
- Basic
understanding of content management systems (CMS).
Personal Attributes
- Organized
and capable of managing maintenance schedules.
- Strong
troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good
communication and customer service skills.
- Ability
to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness
to travel across Mauritius regularly.
Other Requirements
- Valid
driving licence.
- Physically
fit and able to lift and install display equipment.
- Willingness
to work occasionally outside normal working hours when required.
